Its large conical skull is provided with several pairs of tusks, the females having only one pair. The split hooves have two characteristic rear guards. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The scrofa feeds mainly on rhizomes, but also on soft wood by scraping the bark of trees, regularly hunting other animals to get its share. The males of its species (as of any other) are driven out of his territory, in violence.
