Two centuries ago, at the time of the Split, the Aessi were among the Natives who accepted the deities' offer. The Covenant was about giving up the past, giving up technology, giving up new rules. That was the deal to access the promised land.
Aes’sidhs. Aes : follower. 'Sidh : relating to the Sidh meteorite (and to deities)
Just like the Sapiens proclaimed themselves as such, the Aessi did not deviate from the rule.
In the sigh of their peers (Sapiens), they were slaves, bending to the desires of aliens, without any thought. Far from seeing it as slavery, the Aessi saw it as a chance to change, to become better.
Était-il nécessaire de tout abandonner pour autant ?
To survive, the Aessi crossed the continent to the east.
The divinities had offered their followers a precious case of life : a mountain range that was born from the lands submerged by the cataclysm, rebuilt to accommodate a rich territory, magic tinged land.
The Aessi founded Ambrosia (from the word ambrosia, nectar of the gods) in homage to the Sidhs.
We are in the year 200 A.S.(After Split), and perhaps we will have the opportunity to review this civilisation.
