Location

Cervid living in forests, at different altitudes, in the Case near Ambrosia.

Physiognomy

Capreol is similar to a small deer (barely 16 inches), whose skull is decorated with wood, regardless of the sex of the animal. The pupil of the capreol is rectangular and horizontal, allowing it a very wide field of vision.

The female and the juveniles have a slightly cottony coat on the sides and the back sometimes of very light color, while the males have a shorter coat with tones from beige to brown.

In the same way as the reed hen, it has a special ability to blend into its environment. Indeed, its coat darkens or lightens depending on the brightness (note that the capreol loses this specificity at its death).

Behaviour

The capreol lives in small groups of two to three individuals, usually a female and her young. More solitary, males fight to procreate as soon as they cross a potential partner. The fights, rough, often end with the death of one of the suitors.

An herbivore, the capereol is also fond of tender bark. Its wood is used to remove the protective bark from trees. It flees the scrofa on sight, abandoning the trunk it has exposed.

Anecdote

The capreol is agile and lively, hunters who hunt for its meat are not new to it. Moreover, the animal is reputed to be fierce and suspicious. Getting spotted is the best way to get home empty-handed.
